Alexandra Reese has always had a creative focus. Growing up in California, she had a strong
interest and deep appreciation for fashion, interiors and organization at a young age. She has
always had a tendency towards creative spontaneity and spatial planning. Alexandra attended
the University of California, Davis where she received a B.A. in Communications and a B.S. in
Design in 2005. After graduating, she promptly moved to New York City to pursue a career in
Fashion Design. Her decade long fashion career includes designing and working creatively with
Proenza Schouler, Donna Karan, Tracy Reese, Narciso Rodriguez and Rosie Assoulin.
Alexandra Reese is the Creative Director and founder of A.R. CONSULTING, a New York
established and now San Francisco based fashion consulting business since 2013 that helps
create and launch emerging fashion brands from the ground up. Alexandra is also working with
Anthem Interiors in San Francisco, expanding her interior design focus.
After over a decade of living in the West Village of Manhattan, Alexandra returned to California.
She currently lives in San Francisco where she continues to consult with emerging fashion
brands and work in Interior Design. Alexandra participates on fashion panels and presents
lectures on design, including as the Commencement Speaker for the U.C. Davis Design
Department, and guest speaker for the Design Department at University of Pennsylvania.
Additionally she studied at Parsons School of Design, and California College of the Arts. In free
moments, she enjoys running, traveling and organizing living spaces.
